2024 International Bridges Crossborder Survey (IBCS)

The 2024 International Bridges Crossborder Survey (IBCS), launched in November 2023, is a comprehensive initiative designed to capture and analyze the travel patterns and monetary impacts of crossborder traffic between Ciudad Juárez and El Paso. This survey focuses on understanding the behaviors, challenges, and contributions of crossborder travelers to the local economy.

As part of this initiative, Social and Economic Crossing Characteristics has been compiled, covering the period from November 2023 to June 2024. This report, provides valuable insights into the demographic and economic characteristics of crossborder travelers, highlighting their spending patterns, reason for crossing, frequency of crossings, and the impact of these activities on businesses in the region.
